Login password blog creator and XRP activist Ben Armstrong (alias BitBoy) shares extremely positive and optimistic predictions for 2023. Although the first part of the prediction immediately involves Ripple winning the lawsuit against SEC, which has become an understanding setting in the community, the second part of the prediction is indeed surprising.
According to Armstrong, the new year should be the one in which Gary Gensler, the incumbent regulator, was forced to fall. A similar call was made on social platforms earlier last year, even before the collapse of FTX, a password trading center.
Robert Deaton, another activist account and password writer for XRP, saw a slightly different situation. In his view, this situation will be determined by the presiding judge, rather than the pre-trial mediation expected by many in the XRP community. Such an outcome makes Crypto's chances of winning the dispute increasingly uncertain. According to Deaton, Gensler will not make any compromises in this case and agrees that XRP is not a security.
Such difficulties could prove to be a serious impediment to Ripple and XRP's proactive process, not to mention Gensler's departure. However, in terms of multiple forecasts, including those involved in the trial, the conclusions should be published in the near future.
